Bath Rugby have been handed a boost ahead of their final match of the season with the news that Tom Biggs and Mark McMillan have both signed new deals.

Bath face the Leicester Tigers on Saturday in a match that will bring down the curtain on a disappointing campaign for Sir Ian McGeechan's men. McGeechan will leave the side at the end of the season but winger Biggs and scrum-half McMillan will remain.

Biggs has penned a new two-year deal while McMillan has committed to a contract until the end of next season. Biggs is the club's top try-scorer this term and he is looking forward to spending the next couple of seasons at Bath.

"It was an easy decision to extend my contract," Biggs said. "I feel my game has really developed at Bath and I'm enjoying the style of rugby we're looking to play. There is a lot of ambition here and a lot more to come from us, and I'm really looking forward to being part of everything."

First team coach Brad Davis, who will remain at Bath next season despite McGeechan and forwards coach Martin Haag both departing, added: "Both Tom and Mark are exactly the kind of player we want here and we're really pleased they're staying. They contribute a lot both on and off the field and around the club, and we're looking forward to seeing them contribute even more over the coming seasons."
