Bath look set to unleash some of their pace men when they journey to Kingsholm on Thursday in the third leg of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series.

Bath reached the last stage of the tournament last year but failed to make the final with Newcastle downing Saracens to scoop the trophy. But with the final of this year's tournament due to be held at the Rec on August 3, Bath's CEO Nick Blofeld has revealed that they will field a strong side at Kingsholm on July 26 with one notable inclusion the rugby league convert Kyle Eastmond who looks to have a bright future in the XV code but missed much of last season through injury.

"It's very exciting to be hosting the finals and Gary Gold has said everyone is available from the squad," Blofeld said. "It will be a good opportunity for us to give a few young players a chance, but Tom Biggs and Kyle Eastmond will also be there for us.

"We will have some real pace out wide so we want to get the ball out there and make the most of it. Last year the young guys did very well, but we'll have a few older players involved as well. But people like Tom Heathcote kicked on well last season after the competition and hopefully we'll see a few more do the same this year."
