Saracens close in on Marcelo Bosch

Saracens are close to confirming the signing of Argentinian centre Marcelo Bosch from Biarritz, according to reports.

Bosch is currently running out in the Rugby Championship for the Pumas but has long been linked with a move to the Aviva Premiership side. He is listed as a Saracens player on the Union Argentina de Rugby's (UAR) website but he has not yet been confirmed as a Sarries player by the club.

Following news of Brad Barritt's injury, which will keep the No.12 out of action until the New Year, the Evening Standard reports Sarries are now set to push ahead their recruitment of the 21-cap centre.

There are still two rounds of the southern hemisphere's Rugby Championship left and Bosch will probably be involved in Argentina's end-of-year tour to Europe so Saracens supporters are unlikely to see much of their new recruit until December.
