France's Francois Trinh-Duc will miss the autumn internationals after he broke his leg at the weekend.

Trinh-Duc was playing for Montpellier against Oyonnax and he picked up the injury when he was tackled by Benjamin Urdapilleta and he now faces a lengthy spell out. Montpellier's team physiotherapist Bruno Boussagol said: "Francois had an operation on Saturday evening. He will be out of games for around three months."

The news means Trinh-Duc will miss France's games against Fiji, Australia and Argentina and he will also sit out much of Montpellier's European Rugby Champions Cup pool stage.
