Australian rugby mourns loss of great supporter

Australian rugby was today mourning the sudden death of former Wallabies manager John Breen.

The Wallabies' 1991 World Cup manager died on Tuesday night aged 54, just hours after attending a Queensland Rugby Union board meeting.

Breen was a life member of the QRU, managing the Reds from 1985 to 1991 before he became the Wallabies manager until 1993.

Breen is survived by wife Dina and three children.
