As the dust (or should that be snow?) settles on the latest round of action in this season's Heineken Cup we select our Team of the Week - but who made the grade?

15. Ben Foden (Northampton) - The fleet-footed Saints fullback delighted in running the ball at Cardiff Blues during his side's hard-fought victory at Cardiff City Stadium.

14. Maxime Medard (Toulouse) - The French international offered a reminder of his class with a lively display against Glasgow and pounced for his side's first try.

13. Casey Laulala (Cardiff Blues) - The Kiwi centre was a dangerman for the Blues and although on the losing side, he created a try for team-mate Richard Mustoe in a strong performance.

12. Riki Flutey (Wasps) - The England international, returning from a calf injury, produced an eye-catching second half cameo and had a hand in two of his side's tries against the Dragons.

11. Tom Varndell (Wasps) - Switched from the right wing berth he filled against the Dragons, Varndell helped edge his side a little nearer the knock-out stages with a try at Adams Park.

10. Felipe Contepomi (Toulon) - The Pumas star stepped into Jonny Wilkinson's boots at fly-half and wielded significant influence on his way to a try, a penalty and five conversions that ensured his side saw off a determined London Irish.

9. Ruan Pienaar (Ulster) - The Springboks international delivered a classy display to steer Ulster past Bath at The Rec. A constant threat with the ball in hand, he mixed his game-breaking ability with some excellent distribution.

1. Cian Healy (Leinster) - Arguably the player of the round, the no-nonsense loose-head spearheaded Leinster's victory over Clermont Auvergne with a bristling display that also reaped two tries.

2. Richard Hibbard (Ospreys) - His props may have stolen the headlines in the wake of the Ospreys' victory over Munster but Hibbard deserves equal credit for handing their Irish rivals a scrummaging lesson.

3. Adam Jones (Ospreys) - The Wales and Lions international produced a superb display to destroy Munster loose-head Wian du Preez with a brilliant blend of power and technique.

4. Simon Shaw (London Wasps) - The veteran lock continues to play a pivotal role in the Wasps side and was a key figure against the Dragons in the loose and at the set-piece.

5. Dominic Day (Scarlets) - The Scarlets carry the flag for the Welsh regions, with Day's try helping to propel his side to the top of Pool 5.

6. Sean O'Brien (Leinster) - The industrious O'Brien racked up over 50m with the ball in hand against Clermont Auvergne but that was just one part of an all-action display.

7. Martyn Williams (Cardiff Blues) - Not for the first time the veteran flanker showed that there is still plenty of life in the old dog yet with a physical showing laced with skill.

8. Jamie Heaslip (Leinster) - The Irish international rarely puts a foot wrong as was the case against Clermont Auvergne. The Leinster talisman shrugged off injury concerns to inspire his side to a valuable victory.
