England No.8 Jack Clifford, Wales fly-half Sam Davies and New Zealand flanker Ardie Savea have been shortlisted for the International Rugby Board's Junior Player of the Year award. A panel comprising commentators, official TV production team and analysts selected their top three players from every match across the opening four rounds of the latest battle for Junior World Championship title in France and a shortlist was then provided for the 12 coaches to vote on their top three players. The public now has the chance to vote and the result of that poll will be considered, along with the original votes, when finalising the winner who will be announced following Sunday's title-decider between England and Wales. "The IRB Junior World Championship is all about building character through a strong team ethic and achieving success through solidarity, discipline, respect, passion and integrity and the class of 2013 have once again demonstrated that the future of our sport is in very good hands," said IRB chairman Bernard Lapasset.
