Harlequins powered to the third leg of the J.P Morgan Asset Management Premiership Sevens Series as they won three from three at Allianz Stadium on Friday evening. Quins dispatched London Irish, London Wasps and Saracens on the evening and will journey to the final of the series which takes place at Bath's Recreation Ground on August 9. They will be joined by Saracens who won two from three and the pair will compete with Gloucester, Worcester Warriors, Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers for the title next Friday. Saracens were first up on the evening and they beat London Irish 24-12. Saracens, complete with England flyer Chris Ashton, scored tries through Jack Wilson, Nils Mordt, Ben Ransom and new signing Tim Streather. Irish responded with a double from James Greenwood but it proved to be in vain. In the second game, Harlequins dispatched London Wasps 26-19. Charlie Walker, one of the players of the evening, grabbed two with Jack Clifford and Patrice Agunda also scoring. Wasps did their best to come back from 26-0 with tries from Gus Jones, Guy Thompson and Tom Varndell but it was too little too late.

Quins were straight back in action in game three but they ran riot against London Irish winning 42-19. Agunda and Ollie Lindsay-Hague bagged doubles while Walker and Harry Sloan also scored. Last season's Series champions Irish did their best to get back into the match but Gerard Ellis, David Treharne and Tom Fowlie's scores proved to be nothing more than consolation. Come game four, Ashton grabbed Saracens' first against Wasps as they won 21-17. Ashton's try was added to by further scores from Michael Tagicakibau and Ransom. Wasps' star player on the night Tom Howe grabbed two and Thompson added another, but it was not enough to pin back the hosts. Game five, saw London Irish condemn Wasps to a hat-trick of defeats as they eased past their Aviva Premiership rivals 31-19. Irish got in the board through Juliano Fiori, Fowlie, Ellis and Will Smith with Wasps' scores coming from Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas, George Eastwell and Sam Egerton. And in the final match of the evening, Saracens faced off with Harlequins to determine who would win the third leg of the Series. In the end it was Quins who took the spoils with Walker's hat-trick and a late intercept try from Dave Ward helping them to a 24-21 victory.
