Gloucester have dropped Freddie Burns ahead of Sunday's match against Worcester Warriors at Kingsholm.

Burns' contract is up at the end of the season and has recently admitted the attention regarding his future is a distraction. He struggled against Leicester, the team tipped to be leading the race to sign Burns, in the last round of the Premiership and it seems he has paid the price for his recent slump in form.

With Burns dropped, Billy Twelvetrees starts at fly-half with the England No.10 on the bench.
