Worcester Warriors are set to announce the signing of Leicester Tigers fly-half Ryan Lamb, who will leave Welford Road after the two sides meet on Friday evening.

Lamb has a year remaining on his contract with the reigning Premiership champions, but the Leicester Mercury report that he's now ready to join Dean Ryan's battle against relegation, with the deal ready to be announced on Monday.

It's not the first time that the pair have worked together; Ryan was responsible for Lamb's development at Gloucester, where he received his first professional contract.

Since then, Lamb has had stints with London Irish and Northampton Saints, arriving in Richard Cockerill's squad from Franklin's Gardens just last summer.

Lamb has made just four league appearances for Leicester in the seven months he's been with the club, but will now seek to give Worcester their first wins of the season at Sixways.
