Mariano Galarza undergoes shoulder operation

Gloucester have announced that second row Mariano Galarza has successfully undergone shoulder surgery.

Galarza linked up with his new club team mates this week after representing Argentina in the Rugby Championship. However, as a result of an injury sustained playing against Australia in the final match of the tournament in Mendoza last weekend, he underwent shoulder surgery on Wednesday morning.

The operation was successful and Mariano will now follow an intensive rehabilitation programme which will enable him to return to full fitness as soon as possible.
