Kyle Sinckler will miss Harlequins' clash against London Irish at the weekend after being handed a one-week ban.

The prop was yellow-carded and subsequently cited for a tackle on Samu Manoa in Friday night's 17-13 loss against Northampton and was charged with "dangerous charging".

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty and will be allowed to return to action on March 9.

"Kyle Sinckler (Harlequins) has been charged under Law 10.4.G (dangerous charging) following the match against Northampton Saints on February 27," read an RFU statement

"He was subsequently cited after a tackle on Samu Manoa in the 55th minute of the Premiership match.

"His case was dealt with this evening (Monday) by Jeremy Summers as a Sole Judicial Officer at the London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn.

"He pleaded guilty and is banned for one week. He is free to play again on March 9."
