With Wayne Proctor already ruled out of contention for Saturday's trip to Bridgend Llanelli look likely to travel to the Brewery Field without Mark Jones, who picked up an ankle injury against Newport last weekend.

Despite initial fears that the youn speedster could be out for a long time team manager Anthony Buchannan has revealed that the injury is not as serious as was first feared. "It is nothing worse than a twisted ankle. Although Mark probably won't play this weekend, he should not be out for long," he told The South Wales Evening Post.

Both Proctor and Jones could return next Wednesday in Edinburgh, but their places against bridgend will go to Garan Evans and Salesi Finaua.

Rupert Moon could also start for the Scarlets, having recovered from a hamstring strain, with Guy Easterby dropping to the bench.

"There's a lot of rugby in the coming weeks and we want to get people involved," said Buchanan.
