Northampton Saints' Samu Manoa and Exeter Chiefs' Thomas Waldrom are among the nominees for the RPA Players' Player of the Year Award 2015.

The dynamic pair are joined by Newcastle winger Sinoti Sinoti and Bath duo Jonathan Joseph and George Ford - who are both also nominated for the RPA's Young Player of the Year Award - on the shortlist.

Manoa has scored eight tries in 19 appearances for Saints, while Waldrom tops the Aviva Premiership try-scorers list with 14. Sinoti Sinoti has been an instant hit with Newcastle fans, crossing for nine tries and impressing with his dazzling feet.

"It's a great feeling to have the support of the guys who you go into battle with and against each weekend," said USA international Manoa. "I've worked very hard this season to get myself playing to a consistent level each week and to be rewarded for all that extra work, really means a lot."

Waldrom was shocked and delighted that his superb season had been rewarded with a nomination, saying:

"I'm extremely surprised and honoured to be nominated for such a prestigious award, and one in which I'm incredibly grateful for the support shown by all my peers. Moving to Exeter this season has been a fantastic journey and I strongly believe the club has the potential to continue to grow and go further than ever before, as we push for our first ever Aviva Premiership title."

The award is voted for by the nominees' fellow professionals and the winner will be announced on May 13 at a ceremony in London.
