The Blues ended a winless away run stretching back to 2014 with success over the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth. Leading 22-18 as they entered the final quarter, the Blues pulled clear with tries from Billy Guyton and Tevita Li -- the latter deep in added time -- clinching a bonus point. Blues captain James Parsons scored the game's first try to put them 5-3 ahead, but the Kings responded when James Hall dotted down against the goalpost padding, leaving an easy conversion for Elgar Watts. Melani Nanai seized the initiative for the Blues, however, with two tries in the first half from lineouts. Southern Kings hooker Edgar Marutlulle reduced the deficit to 22-15 on 54 minutes when he drove over, and a long-range penalty from fullback Jurgen Visser raised home hopes of just a second victory of the season. But it was Guyton and Li who made the difference for the Blues in the closing stages. © ESPN Sports Media Ltd
