Bath head coach Mike Ford has rubbished suggestions Tom Biggs is set to complete a cross-code switch and sign for Hull FC.

Biggs has quickly established himself as a crowd favourite at the Recreation Ground but reports on Tuesday said he had agreed to a switch to join Hull, the city where he was born. But Ford is adamant Biggs remains a part of their plans at Bath.

"I have spoken to Tom and the rumours are not true," he told BBC Radio Bristol. "Tom is a Hull boy and they are after a back three player. People have put two and two together. He's a Bath favourite and Bath at heart. The fans love him and he wants to stay.

"He has a massive role to play this season. He'll be involved this weekend against Leicester and is very much in our plans. We want to keep him and that's all I can say on the matter."
