Ospreys scrum-half Kahn Fotuali'i is set to miss at least two RaboDirect PRO12 fixtures due to a rib injury.

The 29-year-old Samoa international has impressed since joining the Liberty Stadium side from the Crusaders, but was hurt in Saturday's 26-26 Heineken Cup draw against Treviso and has been ruled out of the upcoming league fixtures against Connacht and Munster.

Ospreys physio Chris Towers said: "Kahn's rib injury will keep him out of contention for the next couple of weeks. At this stage we wouldn't look to rule him out beyond that, and any decision will be dictated by how he recovers over the next couple of weeks."
