Harry Leonard and Gregor Hunter have signed new contracts with Edinburgh to keep them at Murrayfield until 2014.
The young stand-offs both made their senior debuts this season and have impressed for the Scottish club. Hunter, 20, scored a match-winning try in the 19-14 win over Connacht at Murrayfield, while Leonard, 19, shone in a man-of-the-match display against Treviso as Edinburgh secured their first away win of the season.
The young pair follow captain Greig Laidlaw, David Denton, Stuart McInally, Sean Cox and Steven Turnbull in committing their immediate futures to Edinburgh.
Head coach Michael Bradley said: "Harry and Gregor are both quality individuals and I'm delighted they have committed their future to Edinburgh Rugby. Both have already displayed a dynamism and flair to create opportunities for the players around them as well as the composure to control games with territorial and positional awareness, well beyond their years.
"At just 19 and 20 this is a crucial stage in their development in the number 10 jersey and I'm sure that they will both benefit from having such a close competitor here at the club."
