Wales winger Alex Cuthbert looks set to join the exodus from the RaboDirect PRO12 to the Top 14 Orange ahead of next season, according to reports. The Cardiff Blues have already lost star prop Gethin Jenkins to Toulon and according to reports on Wales Online, Racing Metro are believed to have offered Cuthbert a contract of around £300,000 a year to tempt the 22-year-old cross-Channel. The Blues, however, have confirmed in a statement that they have made a lucrative offer to the Grand Slam winner. A Blues spokesman told Wales Online: "The Blues have made Alex an attractive six-figure offer and we are aware that there are offers from other clubs on the table". Cardiff are already preparing for life without Casey Laulala, Rhys Thomas and Ritchie Rees and the news of Cuthbert's switch will do little to alleviate the gloom surrounding the Blues. However, reports also suggest that the Blues are set to bring in Ulster hooker Adam Kyriacou, Perpignan prop Benoit Bourrust, and Welsh second-row Lou Reed. The trio look set to follow in the footsteps of Campese Ma'afu and Robin Copeland who were announced on Saturday. © ESPN Sports Media Ltd.
