Wesley Fofana is a powerful centre who is making waves in the Top 14 for Clermont Auvergne.
Born in Paris in January 1988, Fofana is still to reach his enormous potential but is a constant feature in the Clermont team alongside the likes of Regan King and Aurelien Rougerie. He moved to the Top 14 giants from the Paris Universite Club - a place which has also seen the likes of Andy Ripley and Dimitri Yachvili go through their doors - in 2008 and has since turned out over 50 times for Clermont.
Following a series of impressive performances for his club side, Fofana was rewarded with a place in the 2012 Six Nations squad for France. And after impressing Philippe Saint-Andre in pre-tournament training, Fofana was handed a start for their Six Nations opener against Italy alongside fellow Clermont back Aurelien Rougerie.
And Fofana marked his debut with a try in France's four-try victory over Jacques Brunel's Italy. Fofana kept the run going in the next three matches and took his place in the history books as one of the few to manage this feat. His run of four tries in four matches came to an end when he failed to score in their final match against Wales.
