Wales fly-half Dan Biggar stole the show as Ospreys sent Cardiff Blues crashing to a 31-23 Guinness PRO12 defeat at the Millennium Stadium.

Biggar's sizzling attack and sturdy defence helped the Ospreys come back from a 9-0 deficit to seal a bonus-point win that keeps the pressure on Munster for third place in the play-off race.

The stand-off scored a try and kicked 11 points with a penalty and four conversions as full-back Dan Evans, wing Tom Grabham and centre Ben John scored Ospreys' other tries.

The Blues relied on a try from number eight Josh Navidi plus four Gareth Anscombe penalties, a late Dan Fish 80-metre interception try and conversions from Anscombe and Gareth Davies for their points. Scarlets beat a lacklustre Newport Gwent Dragons 29-10 to earn a bonus-point victory at the Millennium Stadium and give themselves a golden opportunity of making next season's European Champions Cup.

Scarlets' Wales internationals Scott and Liam Williams were prominent in putting out the Dragons' fire, with both getting tries either side of the break. Captain and hooker Ken Owens got the first Scarlets touchdown and wing Harry Robinson topped a good performance with one of his own.

Fly-half Rhys Priestland booted a penalty and three conversions while the Dragons relied on a well-taken try from centre Tyler Morgan and a solitary penalty and conversion from outside-half Dorian Jones for their points.

Munster maintained their challenge for a home semi-final with a 30-19 bonus point victory over Benetton Treviso at Irish Independent Park.

A try from man of the match Tommy O'Donnell on the stroke of half-time had Munster leading 20-7, that scoreline owing much to a lively first quarter which included unconverted scores from Simon Zebo and CJ Stander.

Andrea Pratichetti's 42nd-minute effort gave Treviso some early momentum in the second half, before Ian Keatley replied with a penalty and Munster established clear dominance in the scrum to win a clinching penalty try.

Glasgow Warriors' clinical finishing proved too much for Connacht as the league leaders ran out 31-13 bonus point winners at the Sportsground.

Connacht controlled much of the first half but trailed 19-6 by its end, Niko Matawalu bagging a brace and Stuart Hogg also dotting down as the Warriors profited from the Irish province's errors.

Aly Muldowney's fifth try of the league campaign brought the hosts closer either side of yellow cards for Glasgow duo Tommy Seymour and Chris Fusaro. However, Adam Ashe's 67th-minute effort sealed the bonus point and Seymour added a flattering fifth before the end.
