Ospreys and Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb was crowned Guinness PRO12 Players' Player of the Year on Sunday.

The No.9 has had a remarkable season and helped guide his region into the PRO12 final four where they will travel to Munster on Saturday. He edged past Ulster's Craig Gilroy and Munster's CJ Stander to take the award which was voted for by the 12 PRO12 captains and vice-captains.

Edinburgh scrum-half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne picked up the Young Player of the Season title after an impressive campaign for club and country while Glasgow's Gregor Townsend was named coach of the season.

And Townsend's award was part of a Glasgow double with captain Alastair Kellock winning the 'Chairman's Award' while Craig Gilroy won the Try of the Year and Ian Madigan took the Golden Boot award thanks to his 87.04% success from the tee.
