Mark Webber said his final day in the RB9 was hampered by "lots of small things" as Red Bull completed just 58 laps.

With Sebastian Vettel driving on the final day, Saturday was Webber's last chance to drive the updated car before Friday practice in Melbourne. With the lowest total of any driver who was in the car for the whole day Webber admitted he wish he had been able to do more laps but insisted his lack of running wasn't due to a major issue.

"I'd have liked to have been out there so there was problems with the car, yeah," Webber said. "Just lots of small things which stopped me from running. You need to make sure everything's right; there's no point running when the thing's not in the window if you like, so we had to wait a little bit longer than we would have liked."

Reflecting on his pre-season as a whole, Webber said he was keen to get to Melbourne and start racing but feels Red Bull still has some work to do before the first race.

"We're going pretty well. It's always hard to know who's doing what at this time of year but we're focusing of course on ourselves and working hard on that. There's too much media and not enough racing at the moment so we need to just get down to Melbourne and stop talking about it and just get on with it.

"We've got work to do; there are still for sure some weaknesses to iron out and keep the strengths."
