Sebastian Vettel will have a new race engineer in 2015 after Red Bull announced Guillaume Rocquelin is being promoted to Red Bull's Head of Race Engineering.

Vettel and Rocquelin, widely known as 'Rocky', started working together when the German joined Red Bull in 2009 and have won 38 races and four world titles together. Adrian Newey's decision to step into a new role has prompted a shake-up of the technical staff at Red Bull, meaning Rocquelin will step into the newly-created role from the start of next year's campaign.

Rocquelin's more senior role means he will be responsible for all the team's race engineers, with Red Bull confirming he will continue to attend race weekends. Vettel's new race engineer will be Gianpiero Lambiase, who currently works with Force India's Sergio Perez.
