Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has extended his contract at the team after signing a multi-year deal.

Horner has been at Red Bull since it first entered Formula One in 2005 and replaced the Jaguar outfit on the grid. He has overseen Sebastian Vettel's three championship victories over the last three years as well as Red Bull's hat-trick constructors' titles.

The news puts an end to speculative rumours that Ferrari might be looking to poach Horner, which Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko dismissed in the German press by saying, "We've just extended his contract until 2017".

Red Bull launches its 2013 car on Sunday with Vettel and Mark Webber staying on as its race drivers for another year.
