Newcastle duo James Hall and Rob Vickers have each been handed one-week bans for incidents during the Falcons' Aviva Premiership encounter with Harlequins on March 2.

Hall pleaded guilty to the charge of kicking an opponent. Vickers also offered a guilty plea to the charge of striking an opponent at a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in Durham on Monday evening.

Both players will miss Friday's Premiership match at Worcester but be free to play again from March 28, meaning they can return to face Sale on March 30. The case against fellow Newcastle player Tai Tu'ifua, who was cited for a dangerous tackle in the Harlequins match, was dismissed.
