Falcons hooker signs two-year extension

Newcastle Falcons hooker George McGuigan has signed a two-year contract extension.

"I'm really happy with how my season has gone so far and I want to continue to improve as a player," said McGuigan. "Dean Richards and forwards coach John Wells have really helped my development, and this year they have shown a lot of faith in me by giving me some game time which I'm extremely grateful for.

"My aim is to keep churning out solid performances and hopefully I can hold down a more regular place in the first team."
