Bruce confirmed on the Chiefs' bench

Callum Bruce returns to the Chiefs starting 22 for their final round robin home game against the Reds in Hamilton tomorrow night.

The midfield back was originally bracketed on the reserves bench with Murray Williams but is now confirmed to take his place on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, David Bason will now cover halfback from the bench due to Brendon Leonard nursing a bruised knee and Chiefs wider training group prop Simon Lemalu provides front row cover ahead of Simms Davison, who is recovering from an upper leg strain.

Chiefs: Mils Muliaina (captain), Lelia Masaga, Richard Kahui, Dwayne Sweeney, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Stephen Donald, Jamie Nutbrown, Sione Lauaki, Tanerau Latimer, Liam Messam, Kevin O'Neill, Toby Lynn, Ben Castle, Tom Willis, Ben May.
