Felipe Contepomi, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe and Rodrigo Roncero have been named in Argentina's 23-man squad to face Scotland on Saturday.

Toulon centre Contepomi returns to the international scene after a year out and is ready for action as the Pumas begin their build-up to the 2011 Rugby World Cup with the first Test at the Estadio Monumental Jose Fierro in Tucuman. Argentina will face Scotland in Pool play in New Zealand and are well aware of the advantages to be found with familiarity.

"We have to get the most out of these matches because we will not play too many games (before the World Cup)," Contepomi said. "It helps you know them better. It is also an advantage for them so we must focus on our play and train a lot in order not to commit mistakes."

Leicester duo Horacio Agulla and Marcos Ayerza, Albi winger Lucas Borges and London Irish scrum-half Alfredo Lalanne are also included in the squad. Four of the squad play their club rugby in Argentina - back-row Genaro Fessia, CASI scrum-half Agustin Figuerola, Universitario La Plata second rower Mariano Galarza and San Luis hooker Agustin Creevy.
