Last weekend's victory for Scotland against Argentina in Tucuman was only the third time that the Pumas had tasted defeat in 11 meetings.

The tourists now have the chance to secure a historic series victory, having come close by halving their 2008 tour. Then, Frank Hadden's side fought back from defeat in the first Test with a 26-14 win in Buenos Aires. Their only other victory came in the first meeting between the sides, in 1990. David Sole led a strong Scotland side, fresh from a Five Nations Grand Slam, to a 49-3 victory.

Argentina's biggest victory came at Murrayfield in 2001, when Scotland were on the end of a 25-16 loss. The Pumas won seven straight Tests between Scotland's first and most recent victory and added another scalp with their 9-6 win at Murrayfield in November, when the home side had been aiming for a clean sweep during their autumn internationals.
