Scotland and Samoa face off at Pittodrie in Aberdeen on Saturday with the tourists looking for their first win in the fixture.

The first meeting between the sides came in 1991at the Rugby World Cup, when flanker John Jeffrey scored twice in a 28-6 victory at Murrayfield.

Samoa's best result in the fixture came in 1995, when winger Michael Dods landed five penalties to salvage a 15-15 draw in Edinburgh.

The sides last met in 2005 and Scotland again scraped home, with centre Marcus di Rollo's late try sneaking an 18-11 victory.

Scotland have previously played one Test at Pittodrie, home of Aberdeen football club, beating Canada 41-0 there in 2008.
