Canada head coach Kieran Crowley has named an unchanged match day 22 for Saturday's intriguing Rugby World Cup Pool A clash with France in Napier.

The Canucks opener their campaign with an impressive 25-20 victory over Tonga in Whangarei on Wednesday and, in spite of the short turnaround, Crowley has decided against tinkering with his starting line-up.

Canada have only beaten France once before, in 1994, but their chances have been boosted by the apparent unrest in the Les Bleus camp, with head coach Marc Lievremont having upset veteran stars Dimitri Yachvili and Imanol Harinordoquy by criticising them publicly for their performances in last weekend's underwhelming 47-21 victory over Romania.

Canada: James Pritchard; Ciaran Hearn, DTH van der Merwe, Ryan Smith, Phil Mackenzie; Ander Monro, Ed Fairhurst; Hubert Buydens, Pat Riordan (capt), Jason Marshall; Jebb Sinclair, Jamie Cudmore; Adam Kleeberger, Chauncey O'Toole, Aaron Carpenter.

Replacements: Ryan Hamilton, Scott Franklin, Tyler Hotson, Nanyak Dala, Sean White, Nathan Hirayama, Conor Trainor.
