The tenure of Scotland coach Andy Robinson appears to be coming under increasing scrutiny after the team's latest Six Nations loss.

Reports in the British media have begun to question Robinson's position since defence coach Graham Steadman was told his contract would not be renewed. Robinson's men then fell to Wales 27-13 in Cardiff on Sunday, resulting in Scotland's fourth consecutive defeat, but the Scotland boss remains confident the team is about to turn the corner.

"This is about winning and losing," Robinson said. "but the way we're trying to play is, in my opinion, the way that we will start winning.

"We mustn't get away from the fact that the effort that is being shown there is very, very good. It's important that we build on that and perform that way every time.

"Effort is key to winning games. The one thing I won't fault is the way the players are trying to play the game."

Scotland have now won two games in 12 attempts in the Six Nations under Robinson.
