London Wasps have recalled the previously injured Stephen Jones for their Amlin Challenge Cup match with Bayonne at Adams Park on Thursday evening.

Jones has missed the last two months of action through injury and is handed the fly-half berth for the Anglo-French clash while Tim Payne also earns a recall having sat out the last month. Elsewhere, England's Tom Palmer is recalled to the second-row while Billy Vunipola is named in their back-row.

James Haskell skippers the side for Wasps in what promises to be a key match. Wasps drew with Bayonne last weekend and with the top spot in Pool 3 of the competition seemingly a straight shootout between the two sides, it is almost 'winner takes all' when the two teams comes face-to-face on Thursday.

Wasps' director of rugby Dai Young said: "I was delighted with the commitment shown by the team in France last weekend and I am looking for more of the same tomorrow night.

"It's a win or bust tie for Bayonne who come to Adams Park knowing they have to get something from the game but it's no different for us really, as if we want to control our own destiny in this competition then we've got to win. "

Bayonne have named a team packed with international talent with Wales scrum-half Mike Phillips and former All Blacks flyer Joe Rokocoko both starting. Cedric Heymans also gets the nod while last weekend's try-scorer Marvin O'Connor retains his spot on the flank.

Stade Francais are also in action on Thursday evening in Pool 5 and they entertain Cavalieri Prato in Paris. Stade include the likes of ex-England winger Paul Sackey and former Munster back Paul Warwick in their XV.
