Scotland have called up three Glasgow Warriors forwards for their one-off Test against South Africa next Saturday.

Tighthead prop Euan Murray and back-row pair Tyrone Holmes and Adam Ashe are the trio flying out to Port Elizabeth. Gordon Reid is leaving the party to return home to rest ahead of pre-season training.

Murray, 33, has made 59 appearances for Scotland, while Holmes and Ashe have yet to win a cap. South African-born Holmes, 28, qualifies via his father, while Ashe has appeared for Scotland throughout age-grade and 7s rugby.

Scotland head coach Vern Cotter said: "We're adding to our back-row resources for next week, while, at the same time, trying to give the Commonwealth Games sevens squad as much quality preparation as possible.
