Leslie boost for Scotland

Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has been boosted by the news that John Leslie has recovered from injury and should be available to face France on March 4.
Leslie has missed Scotland's crushing defeats by Italy and Ireland but has been passed fit to turn out for his club Newcastle this weekend.
McGeechan who has delayed announcing his squad until Thursday will be hopiing that stand in captain Bryan Redpath will also recover from an ankle injury which forced him of the field in Dublin. The former Lions coach is also facing calls for him to move Gregor Townsend to outside centre, thus allowing goal kicker Duncan Hodge to come in at fly half.
