Reid back in double quick time

Glasgow Caledonians forward Roland Reid could be set for a comeback on Friday just weeks after he feared he had broken his neck.

The South African-born Reid injured his spine in a Tri-Series match against Edinburgh Reivers last month.

But Caley coach Richie Dixon is confident that Reid will return for the game against Swansea on Friday.

"It took him a little while to get the feeling back in his fingers but he has seen the neuro-surgeon again this week," said Dixon.
