Townsend out for up to six weeks

Scotland have been delft a further blow with news that fly half Gregor Townsend could miss at least their next two Six Nations games.

The Castres player, who limped off early in Sunday's defeat by France has suffered a badly twisted cruciate ligament in his knee.

Castres manager Jacques said that Townsend would be on the injured list for "between four weeks and six weeks if there are no complications."
