Italy call up third choice scrum half

It will be Parma's scrum half Filippo Frati turn to wear Italy's number nine
jersey against Scotland tomorrow in Murrayfield.

After former captain Alessandro Troncon was forced to withdraw his deputy Manuel Queirolo has had to pull out of the team because of a last minute injury.

The other two changes to the squad which played against France a fortnight ago in Roma are Northampton's Luca Martin, replacing injured Denis Dallan on the wing, and prop Franchino Properzi in for Tino Paoletti demoted to Italy A.

Among the replacements, scrum half Matteo Mazzantini from Treviso comes in for Queirolo, L'Aquila's prop Salvatore Perugini and Roma's Nanni Raineri sit on the bench for Properzi and Martin and Andrea Benatti from Viadana replaces Denis Dal Maso.
