Henry full of praise for Robinson
April 14, 2001

Lions manager Graham Henry has given his biggest hint yet that England's Jason Robinson will be selected to tour Australia later this year.

Henry was speaking in Limerick yesterday as he and the rest of his management team, Donal Lenihan and Andy Robinson, to watch Munster triupmh over a Rest of Ireland select side.

"This was a very worthwhile exercise for us," Henry told the Daily Telegraph,"We've not had much opportunity to see the Irish guys in action. I guess the only good thing is that the Irish boys that do make the trip won't be overdone in times of fatigue. It's going to be a tight call in some areas - centre, fly-half, back row, for example - where there will be two or three guys going for the one slot still available. We've still got about seven places to decide. There will be some good players staying at home."

Of ther Sale livewire player he said, "You have to say that Jason Robinson does have something about him," Henry said. "He's got game-breaking qualities. The big question is his lack of experience of big-time union. However, he is certainly a big-time sportsman."
