Four return for the Glaws

Barry Irving, Donnie Macfadyen, Steve Griffiths, and Lee Harrison are all set to return for the Glasgow Caledonians' against Pontypridd at Hughenden on Friday.

However, the high-scoring Tommy Hayes misses the game because of flu. Irving takes over from Hayes at stand-off.

Macfadyen will be at open-side flanker in place of Roland Reid, whose left knee was injured during the 15-22 defeat by Bridgend at Hughenden last Friday.

Harrison will be tight-head prop instead of Gordon McIlwham - a "squad rotation" change. Griffiths resumes at lock after a leg injury, and his return allows Jon Petrie to return to No.8 in place of Gareth Flockhart.

Reid will have a scan next week to ascertain the extent of the injury to the knee ligaments.
