Police square up at Eden Park

On Tuesday, at Eden Park, the New Zealand Police rugby team takes on a
United Kingdom Police team for the first time in rugby history.

The inaugural match between the two police forces, is also the final game in the UK Police team's tour of the Southern Hemisphere. The tour took the team to Western Australia, Christchurch and Wellington.

In Christchurch the UK team played the New Zealand Defence Forces team and in Wellington it played a Wellington Colts/Barbarians side.

The UK Police team includes a number of former and current Scottish, English and Welsh representatives. The New Zealand Police team is drawn from mostly club and 2nd Division NPC players.

Kick off is at 2.30pm at Eden Park.
