Profile

Humphries returned to Queensland in 2008 for his third stint on Australia's east coast following two seasons with the Waratahs and spells in Italy and Japan.

Humphries played for the Reds in 2000 against Argentina and returned for a second stint in 2004. In between he played for the Waratahs in 2002-3, making his Super 12 debut against the Bulls in Pretoria. He also played for North Harbour in 2001, Viadana in Italy from 2004-05, IMB Tokyo from 2005-06 and Kintetsu Osaka from 2006-07.

The Reds' lineout general, Humphries has played some of his best rugby during the last two years and earned a call-up to the Wallabies squad ahead of their end of year tour to Europe in 2010. Should he feature in any of the Tests, he will become, at 34, the oldest debutant in Australian rugby history.
