Profile

Frank Williams, a hard tackling centre, played 14 times for Wales between 1929 and 1933. While he was with Cardiff when first picked, in the same year he became sports master at Wakefield Grammar School and so the remainder of his career was in Yorkshire where he represented Headingley and the county. His work meant he had to turn down an invitation to tour with the 1930 Lions.
