  • Leicester skipper Geordan Murphy has agreed a new deal at Welford Road.

    The Ireland fullback has been at the Tigers for 13 years, winning seven Premiership titles and two Heineken Cups.

    "I've been here a long time and it shows how much Tigers is a part of my rugby life that I am extending my contract here again," he said. "I count myself very fortunate to have played in so many great teams at Leicester and to be able to run out in front of our incredible supporters at Welford Road."

  • Exeter Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Samoan international scrum-half Garrick Cowley, 26, from Esher. Cowley played four Tests between 2005-06 while playing NPC rugby for Bay of Plenty.
