Stade Français hooker Dimitri Szarzewski is could be set to miss France's autumn internationals after being cited for a headbutt.

Szarzewski, capped 48 times for France, was cited after an altercation with Toulon hooker, Jean-Philippe Genevois, during Stade Français' 22-15 win at the Stade de France on Saturday. The 27-year-old will miss France's matches against Fiji, Argentina and Australia if he is found guilty.

Referee Pascal Gaüzère missed the worst of the fight that broke out between the two hookers following the scrum and settled for warning both players, but cameras captured the headbutt. France coach Marc Lièvremont will announce his squad for the autumn games on Wednesday.
