Wasps face a must-win Heineken Cup away trip this weekend as they travel north of the border to take on Glasgow at Firhill.

The Premiership side are currently two points behind Pool 6 leaders Toulouse and with the French giants set to visit Adams Park next weekend, Tony Hanks' side cannot afford any lapses against the Warriors.

Glasgow are out of the running for another year but did produce a spirited display in Wycombe earlier in the season, although their discipline was found to be wanting as they slipped to a 38-26 defeat.

Glasgow - Player to Watch: If Ruaridh Jackson is to influence selection for the Six Nations then he needs to have a big couple of weeks, starting against Wasps.

Glasgow - Team News: With Johnnie Beattie ineligible for European action, Richie Vernon returns to the back-row, while Colin Shaw and Hefin O'Hare are recalled on the wings. In the centre, Federico Aramburu deputises for the injured Max Evans, who is out for a week with a slight calf strain.

Wasps - Player to Watch: Wasps have been powered forward in recent weeks by a superb run of form from No.8 Andy Powell, who will be keen to seal his place in Warren Gatland's Wales side prior to the Six Nations.

Wasps - Team News: Simon Shaw and Joe Worsley return to the pack while David Lemi, Dave Walder and Joe Simpson are promoted from the bench following last weekend's narrow loss to Harlequins.

Key Battle: Wasps were at times directionless against Quins but with Walder back in the saddle they will hope to dominate the territorial exchanges. Jackson will have to meet the challenge head on.

Trivia: Wasps' 23-16 win over the Dragons in round three ended a three-game losing streak on the road in the Heineken Cup.

Stats: Glasgow are still searching for their first win over Wasps in Europe, having lost the previous three meetings between the sides.
