Wasps centre Dominic Waldouck has been ruled out for the rest of the season after snapping his Achilles in Wasps' 25-12 defeat to London Irish on Sunday.

The England Saxons centre collapsed to the floor after appearing to catch his studs in the turf and Wasps director of rugby Leon Holden confirmed the extent of the damage.

"He snapped his Achilles. I don't know what the recovery time is for that but it's a long time," Holden said.

"It's normally about six months. He's pretty upset. There was no one around him, we had a look on the tape. But he'll come back, he's a pretty tough guy."
