Wales wing Will Harries is set to miss the rest of the Dragons' season after suffering a knee injury in their dramatic win over the Ospreys last weekend.

The 24-year-old limped from the field early on in the 32-28 victory and forwards coach Danny Wilson has confirmed that all signs point to a lengthy lay-off.

He will now likely miss out on a chance to stake his claim in Wales' June clash with the Barbarians, and also August Rugby World Cup warm-ups against England and Argentina. Harries won the last of his two caps against Australia in November 2010.

"We're still waiting for confirmation but it doesn't look particularly good," Wilson said. "He's gone off for scans this week but realistically I can't see him playing again this season.

"His chances seem pretty slim but you never know with ligament injuries and it may not be as bad as we first thought. We've sent him through the right routes to make a proper decision."

Meanwhile, Connacht have confirmed the capture of Leinster scrum-half Paul O'Donohoe, a former Ireland Under-20 representative. "We're delighted Paul is joining us," Connacht boss Eric Elwood said. "I've known Paul since he starred for the Ireland U20s in 2007 and I believe he's a top class player and very capable of the standard required in the Magners League and European competitions."
