Martyn Williams has been included in a Barbarians side intent on following up their win over England with a victory over Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

The Cardiff Blues openside, who will be desperate to impress as he seeks to play his way into Wales boss Warren Gatland's plans prior to this September's Rugby World Cup, will line up in a formidable-looking back-row alongside Italy No.8 Sergio Parisse, who retains the skipper's armband, and South African veteran Joe van Niekerk.

Elsewhere, Williams' Blues team-mate Paul Tito has been paired with Samoa's Iosefa Tekori in the second row, while the Scarlets' Iestyn Thomas is joined by by French hooker Sebastien Bruno and former All Black prop Carl Hayman up front.

Behind the scrum, Paul Sackey and Mathieu Bastareaud are the only survivors from the back-line which started the 38-32 defeat of England at Twickenham. Toulon winger Sackey has been named in a back three alongside two men plying their trade in Ireland, Leinster's Isa Nacewa, who will start at fullback, and legendary All Black winger Doug Howlett. France centre Bastareaud, meanwhile, will team up with Fijian Seru Rabeni in midfield.

Finally, there is an all-new half-back combination, with Sebastien Tillous-Borde and Brock James taking over at nine and ten from Ruan Pienaar and Frederick Michalak respectively.

Barbarians: I Nacewa (Leinster and Fiji); P Sackey (Toulon and England), S Rabeni (La Rochelle and Fiji), M Bastareaud (Stade Francais and France), D Howlett (Munster and New Zealand); B James (Clermont Auvergne), S Tillous-Borde (Castres and France), I Thomas (Scarlets and Wales), S Bruno (Toulon and France), C Hayman (Toulon and New Zealand), J Tekori (Castres and Samoa), P Tito (Cardiff Blues), J van Niekerk (Toulon and South Africa), M Williams (Cardiff Blues and Wales), S Parisse (Stade Francais and Italy, capt)
